A custom Richard Mille watch once produced solely for 400-meter Olympic Champion and track & fields superstar, Wayde van Niekerk, will go up for auction at Sotheby’s in Hong Kong. Easy to see, the timepiece sports the true colors of the South African flag, which the 30 year old so overtly represents. This edition of the watch is reference RM 67-02 from circa 2021. This auction is set to open on October 5, 2022 (HKT time). Our prediction for final sale is well north of $600,000 USD.
