Omega Calls On George Clooney For New Speedmaster ’57 Collection

Omega wanted a big name and went and got it! The brand called on George Clooney to help introduce their new Speedster '57 collection. After releasing a short teaser a day prior, Mr. Clooney was fully revealed wearing the timepiece. You’d think they would hire “Mr. Ocean” for a new Seamaster collection, but Omega reversed the script. They enlisted Mr. Clooney to show off the new Speedmaster ’57 watches. I will admit the new release is quite clean and formal-ish. The watches come in a 40.5mm case diameter (not too sporty). What’s best, in my opinion, is the abundance of colors the dial and bracelet we are given the option to select from. Personally, George Clooney will always remind me of his Batman role. Maybe Omega envisioned Bruce Wayne as well and knew an automobile with speed watch fits much better on Mr. Clooney!
